May marked the successful conclusion of the eighth Belgrade Business International Case Competition, which saw remarkable achievements and innovative solutions. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, this year’s competition embraced an online format, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.
We are excited to share the great success achieved by the teams who participated in the competition. They showed their dedication and collaboration, working together to tackle real-world business challenges in a digital landscape.
In the Long Case category, the National University of Singapore claimed first place, followed by the University of Belgrade in second place, and the Wilfrid Laurier University securing a commendable third-place finish.
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology won first place in the Short Case Category, with Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Belgrade securing second and third place, respectively.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to all participants, judges, and organizers who dedicated countless hours to ensure the success of BBICC 2022. Despite the virtual environment, we created memories that will be cherished for years to come!

Dear participating teams, colleagues and partners we must sadly confirm the cancelation of the 8th edition of the Belgrade Business International Case Competition 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns. While this decision was hard to make, we take the safety and health of our guests and the organizing committee very seriously. We advise everyone to follow the guidelines suggested by public health officials.
The organizing committee is working hard so that BBICC 2020 takes another date later this year. We hope that everyone is healthy and taking the necessary precautions.

April was a time when the best top talent ideas were made, the most brilliant strategies for overcoming real-life problems of companies were crafted, and a lot of valuable connections were established. This April we are proud to proclaim a successful end to the seventh Belgrade Business International Case Competition. If the quality of a competition was measured by the efforts put into it, this year’s BBICC was undoubtedly top-notch! Participating teams have shown us what perseverance, teamwork and dedication can do when genius minds collide.
Special congratulations goes to the team that stood out among all others and won the first place: Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University! Congratulations to the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto for winning the second place, and congratulations to the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University for winning the third place!
Heavener School of Business, University of Florida also has a reason to be proud because Ophir Rotem, a competitor from Heavener’s team, amazed the jury with her presentational skills and won the Best presenter award. Congrats!
Once again, we would like to thank everybody who has dedicated days, weeks and months of hard work and contributed to making BBICC 2019 a memory that all of us will cherish forever!

Months have passed since BBICC 2017 has officially ended. During the time, we had a pleasure to not only spend time with some of the most amazing people all around the world but also to listen to their solutions for the real-time business problems developed in a short span of time. When you blend wonderful people with great ideas and combine that with even greater energy, the outcome is the forever living memory of an extraordinary experience.
So many people have presented really great ideas; nevertheless, a winner and runner-ups had to be chosen. We sincerely congratulate the ones who really pushed their limits to their maximum and showed us what hard work, perseverance and young minds can do by working together.
